After completing her Master of Laws degree (LL.M.) from the University of Houston Law Center with honors in 2020, Long began practicing law as an associate attorney at The Woodall Law Firm. Her practice focuses on analyzing insurance coverage, drafting coverage opinions, and litigating coverage issues via declaratory judgment actions.
In just four years of practicing law, Long has concentrated her work in the area of insurance coverage. "Insurance law, including law concerning coverage under commercial automobile carrier policies, is unsettled on many issues. I am always seeking opportunities to help settle legal disputes and establish new legal precedents" Long commented.
Long has grown the firm's insurance coverage practice and has become the go-to coverage counsel for TPA Athens Administrators, United Wisconsin Insurance Company, Incline Casualty Insurance, Highlander Specialty Insurance Company, and other clients.
A native of Moscow, Russia, Long brings a unique international perspective to The Woodall Law Firm. She previously worked as a financial analyst at Schlumberger before moving to the United States and pursuing her legal career. Long is a member of the Texas Bar Association (Insurance Section), Houston Bar Association, Montgomery Bar Association, and the National Association of Women Lawyers.
