The Woodall Law Firm is pleased to announce that Matt McFarlane has joined the firm as a partner. He leads the firm's Business & Corporate Law practice.
McFarlane brings more than 16 years of business and legal experience. His practice focuses on corporate and business transactions, complex mergers and acquisitions, leveraged finance, and real estate.
Before joining The Woodall Law Firm, McFarlane served as president and general counsel of a venture studio, and as general counsel and chief operating officer of a cryogenic services corporation and a commercial construction company. He has spent more than 15 years in executive leadership roles at businesses with revenues from $5 million to $500 million.
McFarlane earned his B.S. from Texas A&M University in 2004 and his J.D. from South Texas College of Law in 2008. He is licensed to practice in all Texas state courts and is a member of the Texas Bar Association and The Woodlands Bar Association.
A resident of The Woodlands, McFarlane is a multiple-time Ironman and a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt. He was the 2015 Ironman Volunteer Captain of the Year, and he plays guitar and violin.
